Catching up on my assignments!!

ok.......haven't posted in awhile and trying to catch up on my assignments.

WEEK #1

I"m going to check out NPR mainly because I love listening to them on the radio and I am very familiar with goodreads already.

WEEK #2

I will attempt to write a couple annotations using mainly appeal factors....

Gone Girl
A newly married couple, the wife goes missing.......makes for a fast paced story with twists and turns throughout.  It is very suspenseful and will have you staying up til all hours of the night/morning furiously turning the pages to find out what happens.

Wave
In this heartbreaking memoir, a woman who loses her entire family in the massive tsunami explains how she tries to survive living without them.  With great scene setting detail, she describes all she remembers of the event and how she tries to put her life back together in the aftermath.  This book will have you sympathisizing with the characters and gripping your family all the more tighter.
